Advise for our guests affected by the new Goverment rules of 6 ;
From the 14 September 2020, it will be against the law to meet people you do not live with, indoors or outdoors, in a group larger than 6 unless you are part of the same household or support bubble. In England, the maximum of 6 people includes children of all ages.
Any bookings consisting a party size of 6 or more cannot currently take place unless the guests are from the same household or support bubble.
Please contact us if your booking is affected by the new Government rules, we have the following options for you to consider;
Transfer your holiday to new agreed dates for 2021.
Change your booking by either reducing the number of people staying in the property or staggering the arrival so that the booking can still go ahead under the new rules.
Cancel your booking and receive a refund of the amount already paid for the holiday.
If your party size is greater than 6 people, but the party is from the same household or support bubble, your booking can still go ahead as planned and the above options do not apply to your booking.
There is currently no official end date to the new rules, we are currently offering these options to all guests with bookings up to the end of October 2020 , we will update the government rules after this date, If there are no legal restrictions in place at the date your booking is due to start our normal terms and conditions apply.
Please note: Padstow Holidays will not under any circumstance allow any of our properties to be occupied by any holiday guests whilst the regulations requiring the closure of our business remain in place. Owing to the nature of the regulations, we may extend the period our properties are currently available for, in accordance with the government guidance which is, as you are aware, ever changing.
On 10th May 2020, the Government issued an unprecedented instruction that everyone must Stay Alert due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately this means that any guests who were due to stay in any of our properties before July 4th 2020 must not travel to their holiday destinations as planned.
In the current climate we feel it is necessary to reassure all of you we are going to be following all Government/NHS advice and guidelines in regards to the outbreak of Coronavirus. Our top priority is to try and keep all of our guests happy and safe, so we have provided antibacterial hand wash in the property, as well as guidance from the NHS on how to wash your hands thoroughly. This is definitely a time to look after one another, so please trust in the advice we are being given and continue to stay safe by following all measures that are currently in place.

We understand that the current situation with Coronavirus (Covid-19) is causing uncertainty for some our customers with a holiday booked in the coming months. The situation is changing daily and we have created some FAQ’s to help to answer some of the questions you may have, these will be reviewed regularly and we will continue to follow guidance issued by the Government.
I have an upcoming booking, can I still go?
On 10th May 2020, the Government issued an unprecedented instruction that everyone must Stay Alert due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. This means that if you were due to take your holiday in one of our properties before the 4th of July 2020, you will unfortunately not be able to travel as planned. However, we can help you possibly to transfer your booking to another date, either later this year or in 2021 .Please note that holiday transfer requests are at the discretion of the homeowner and any difference in the price of your new dates will be applied or credited as appropriate at the time of transferring.
What happens if I need to cancel my holiday because I catch Coronavirus? You will need to check your travel insurance as to whether this would be covered. We do not offer refunds in this case but we would endeavour to help as much as we could in terms of offering a change of dates - it is noted that these would be at the discretion of the property owner.
What happens if I do not catch Coronavirus but have to cancel my holiday because I have to self-isolate? You will need to check your travel insurance as to whether this would be covered. We do not offer refunds in this case but we would endeavour to help as much as we could in terms of offering a change of dates but this would be at the discretion of the property owner.
What happens if I am advised not to travel by a medical practitioner? You will need to check your travel insurance as to whether this would be covered. We do not offer refunds in this case but we would endeavour to help as much as we could in terms of offering a change of dates - it is noted that these would be at the discretion of the property owner.
What happens if I want to cancel because I am worried about catching Coronavirus?
If there isn't any government travel restrictions in place for your holiday dates and as such, our normal terms and conditions apply, meaning that if you choose to cancel, a refund will not be offered. Please remember that balance payments are not due until 6 weeks prior to travel and as such we recommend you wait and see what the situation is at that point in time rather than cancelling your holiday now.
Can you guarantee the properties have been appropriately cleaned? We cannot and do not guarantee properties are free from infection, however, all properties are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Will you check with the owner whether they will allow us to change our booking to later in the year or to next year? We are very happy to do this, however whether they would be prepared to do so or not is entirely at their discretion
